For three years, a woman named Rebecca at my gym had just been beating me. Like, barely. Eventually, I decided to turn myself into a science experiment and improve as much as possible in a year.

It was brutal. But my coach was unbearably hot, which helped. A year later, I made the final competition. Rebecca and I were neck and neck. The end of the final workout was 20 calories on the Assault Bike - grueling, disgusting.
